Join Canberra Dance Theatre dancers and guest musicians as they playfully toss away their devices and explore how to reconnect with each other and you – the audience. Expect the unexpected as you come with us on an adventure, encountering different styles of dance performed in nooks and crannies close to the Canberra Times fountain.
From ballet, Hilal Dance and contemporary dance, dancers ranging in age from their late teens to late eighties will bring joy and delight to the cityscape.
Are you brave enough to follow processions from one dance treat to the next? Be infected by the energy of the performances, watch as we connect disconnection, join us as we move from place to place, enter into the spirit of play.
Are you brave enough to join in for the grand finale? No need to prepare, just pocket your phone and join in. We promise it will be easy and fun. Share the moment with the person beside you, have a laugh, be surprised.
We know that you can dance – everybody can dance – so why not strut your stuff and maybe the dancers will borrow some of your moves!
