Discover how artists shape, capture and transform light through glass in this special day of free demonstrations and hands-on workshops with neon artist Harriet Schwarzrock.
At 12.00pm and 2.00pm, audiences of all ages are invited to take part in a kilnforming workshop inspired by the theme of light.
Participants will design and make a slumped glass tealight candle holder, exploring how colour, transparency and form affect the way light passes through glass. Finished works will be fired in the kiln and ready for collection later.
Whether you’re watching molten glass take shape or creating a glowing object of your own, this program celebrates glass as a medium of light, warmth and wonder.
Demonstrations are free to watch. Workshop bookings are required.
