In a special offering, some of Canberra’s iconic Parliament House will give access to areas normally closed to the public as part of the Canberra After Dark @Enlighten Festival program. Journey through time with an expert geologist. Explore the wide variety of stone used in the architecture of Parliament House and see a rare rock formation where two rock masses, ten million years apart joined, called an unconformity.

Note – visiting the ‘unconformity’ requires a degree of physical fitness and freedom of movement. (We also suggest wearing comfortable shoes).
