LAKE SURF ROCK THAT MUMS LOVE.

Founding members of the Lake Burley Griffin Boardriders Club; Toby Morwitch (guitar and vocals) and Chris Guerin (drums and accounts) struggled finding music to express their lifestyle. Quickly resolving to address this issue, they strove to pioneer Indie-Lake-Surf-Rock into Canberra’s budding music scene.

Bringing along bassist and long-time hipshaker Ewan McArthur, this Canberra outfit has quickly established themselves as the ACT’s silliest buggers (outside of Parliament House). Blending the joyous rebellion of Surf Rock with heartfelt moments shared over countless Lake Burley Griffin sunsets, smartcasual’s sound draws parallels to many of their own Aus favourites – Crowded House, The Grogans, Kingswood, The VANNS and DICE.
