Canberra Day in the Suburbs

7 March

Add to favourites

The four Canberra Day in the Suburbs events happening simultaneously across Canberra are an opportunity to meet up with other community members in an area near you and acknowledge the people involved working tirelessly over this summer dealing with bushfires, smoke haze and storm events.

You can write a message of thanks or appreciation at specially set up Appreciation Stations. The Arts ACT crew will have some helpers on hand to assist your creativity! These messages will then be displayed on the big TV screens alongside the music stage at the Canberra Day events on Monday 9 March in the Parliamentary Triangle.

Thank an emergency services representative in person and also enjoy live music, a free sausage sizzle, cake and more!
