Enlighten Illuminations26 February – 8 March Please use the Check In CBR app when viewing the illuminations. Check-in QR codes will be placed on signage around the venue area. No pre-registration is required to enter the Parliamentary Triangle to view the architectural projections and illuminated installations, but we ask attendees to adhere to 1.5m physical distancing requirements.
Tickets are required to attend Attractions After Dark.
Enlighten Alley will offer two sessions of 2 hours and 15 minutes each. No pass outs will be issued. Please release your tickets if you cannot attend.
BentSpoke Beer Gardens will offer two timed sessions of 2 hours and 15 minutes each. No pass outs will be issued. Please release your tickets if you cannot attend.
Canberra Balloon Spectacular 6-14 March Registration is required to attend the daily balloon launch from Patrick White Lawns at the Canberra Balloon Spectacular. In the event of bad weather preventing a launch, tickets will not be transferred to another day so please book again. Please release your tickets if you cannot attend.
Lights! Canberra! Action! – 5 March Registration is required to attend Lights! Canberra! Action!. When at the location please adhere to physical distancing regulations. Please release your tickets if you cannot attend.
Symphony In The Park – 7 March Registration is required to attend Symphony in the Park. When at the location please adhere to physical distancing regulations. Please release your tickets if you cannot attend.
Canberra Day – 8 March Registrations are required to attend the new special event “Breakfast at Balloons”. Registration is also required for Enlighten Alley and BentSpoke Beer Gardens at Enlighten Illuminations.
Patrons attending Enlighten Festival must comply with all ACT Health COVID Safe requirements. Patrons are encouraged to download and use the CheckIn CBR app.
All attendees will be required to maintain physical distancing and good personal hygiene. All attendees are reminded to stay home if you are unwell.
The below Terms will be a condition of registration and entry at the point of online pre-purchase. These terms specifically relate to COVID-19 safe practices.
I agree that I will not attend the event if:
I feel unwell or display and of the COVID-19 symptoms as identified by ACT Health.
I have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
I am waiting on the results of a COVID-19 test.
I have been in contact with a positive COVID-19 case in the 14 days prior to the event.
I am required to self-isolate or quarantine.
I have travelled overseas and/or visited a COVID-19 hotspot as outlined by ACT Health in the 14 days prior to the event.
I understand that any person included on this booking may be refused entry if they display cold or flu-like symptoms. I acknowledge that the event may be scheduled to be held, or will be held, during a time at which one or more Government directions or regulations may be in force regarding the number of persons attending an event (or the holding of the event itself). If that is the case, then the number of persons permitted to be in or around the event site may be affected, resulting in the Enlighten Festival being required to or deciding to: a) cancel or postpone the event; b) reduce the number of persons who may attend the event; and/or c) change any standing or seating configurations for attendance at the event;
I acknowledge that, even with strict capacity and control measures in place, there remains a risk of transmission of viral illness including COVID-19 at this event at this time and I have considered that risk and my own personal circumstances, including any health condition or vulnerability that I may have or that of persons whom I will be in close contact with following my attendance. By attending this event I (and any persons who attend with me) acknowledge and accept these obvious risks. I acknowledge that I am not entering the event from a known banned area, hotspot or currently serving a mandated 14-day quarantine period.
If I am attending the event as part of a group, as the primary ticket purchaser, I am responsible for knowing the contact details of all attendees in my group. In the event I am contacted directly by the Government, including the Department of Health for the purposes of contact tracing, I must: (a) make the contact details of my group available to the Government (if I have the consent of each group member to do so); or (b) contact each member of my group, and request that they provide their contact details to the Government directly.
Patrons are not permitted to bring the following items onto the Enlighten Festival site:
flares, fireworks, knives, weapons or any device that has the potential to cause injury or public nuisance;
any prohibited substance;
bicycles, tricycles (including hand propelled tricycles), roller blades, roller skates, skateboards, foot propelled scooters or segways.
For the comfort, safety and enjoyment of patrons, Management reserves the right to:
refuse entry at their discretion;
refuse entry to, or evict any person deemed to be intoxicated or affected by a prohibited substance;
refuse entry to, or evict any unauthorised person; and
refuse entry to any person who attempts to bring any restricted or prohibited item onto the Enlighten festival site
Registration is required to attend Canberra Balloon Spectacular, Lights! Canberra! Action!, Symphony in the Park, Canberra Day Breakfast at Balloons, Enlighten Alley and BentSpoke Beer Gardens.
Entry to Enlighten is free, but patrons may incur a charge for some activities and purchases within the Enlighten site.
Management reserves the right to inspect bags brought into or out of the Enlighten site.
Patrons bringing personal items to Enlighten do so at their own risk. Events ACT will not be held responsible for any damage to, loss or theft of personal property, whether brought into the Enlighten site or deposited at storage facilities outside.
Patrons are admitted at their own risk. Events ACT will not be held responsible for the death or injury of any patron during their attendance at Enlighten.
Patrons agree to indemnify Events ACT against liability in respect of all claims, costs and expenses and for all loss, damage, injury or death to persons or property caused by the patron in connection with their attendance at Enlighten, except to the extent that Events ACT caused the relevant loss, damage or injury.
The Enlighten site must not be used for any political or other demonstration.
Signs and banners are not permitted inside Enlighten and must not be displayed on any fence surrounding the Enlighten site.
Unless approved by Management, the sale of goods or services, or the conduct of charitable collections, raffles and fundraisers is not permitted.
Unless approved by Management, the distribution of brochures, flyers, pamphlets or vouchers of any kind is not permitted.
Unless approved by the Management, buskers or other performers are not permitted to perform at Enlighten.
Patrons must obey all signs, notices and directions given by Management.
Patrons entering Enlighten may be photographed, filmed and/or taped and it is deemed that a person, by entering Enlighten, consents to the ACT Government or third parties appointed by the ACT Government photographing, filming or taping. The ACT Government or third parties appointed by the ACT Government can broadcast, publish, licence and use any photographs, film, recordings or images without compensation. The ACT Government, third parties and anyone acquiring from them a right to use the material are not liable to the subject for its use in any way.
