A performer waits inside a transparent box. Like a mirror she gazes at her audience, sharing presence and a moment of stillness. Slowly she uses gesture to initiate games that build rapport with onlookers. Styled in colourful vintage garb, it’s as though she defies time and is both past and present at once.
