There are various free public car parks throughout the Parliamentary Triangle. There is also free public parking at each of the participating attractions. Due to traffic congestion issues during the event it is recommended that patrons avoid parking in the NLA and the Questacon car parks.
If you feel like taking in the amazing autumn sights of Canberra, Enlighten can be reached on foot. As a guide, the Canberra Centre to the Enlighten Entertainment Hub, via Commonwealth Avenue crossing over Commonwealth Bridge, takes approximately 40 minutes to walk.
Catch the shuttle bus to alleviate parking stress and to avoid parking illegally and incurring a parking fine. The Shuttle bus is free and departs from Platform 10 (Civic Bus Interchange), pick up at Acton Car Park to the event site (National Library of Australia Bus Stop). This service will run a continuous loop from 5pm – 11.30pm on 27, 28 Feb and 6, 7 Mar 2015.

All attendees to ENLIGHTEN should be aware that it is an offence under the National Land (Road Transport) Ordinance 2014 to park a vehicle on open space in the area where ENLIGHTEN is being held. Open space is any area that is not designed for the movement or parking of motor vehicles, such as grassed areas, footpaths and landscaped areas.
The National Capital Authority will be enforcing parking regulations for the duration of this event, and attendees should ensure they park legally to avoid the risk of an infringement being issued to their vehicle.
