How to get here

There are many ways to get to Enlighten

Enlighten is held across various sites and the location of each event is indicated in the Enlighten map.

Enlighten Shuttle

Catch the shuttle bus to alleviate parking stress and to avoid parking illegally and incurring a parking fine. The Shuttle bus is free and departs from Platform 10 (Civic Bus Interchange), pick up on Commonwealth Avenue opposite Regatta Point. Park in the Acton Car Park and use the lights to cross Commonwealth Avenue to catch the Enlighten Shuttle. The shuttle will stop at the event site (National Library of Australia Bus Stop). This service will run a continuous loop from 5pm – 11.30pm on 27, 28 Feb and 6, 7 Mar 2015.

There are various free public car parks throughout the Parliamentary Triangle. There is also free public parking at each of the participating attractions. Due to traffic congestion issues during the event it is recommended that patrons avoid parking in the NLA and the Questacon car parks.

If you feel like taking in the amazing autumn sights of Canberra, Enlighten can be reached on foot. As a guide, the Canberra Centre to the Enlighten Entertainment Hub, via Commonwealth Avenue crossing over Commonwealth Bridge, takes approximately 40 minutes to walk.
